    Office 2000 to Office 2002 (Office 2002 SP2)

I just upgraded Office 2000 to Office 2002. Everything went fine; all programs work as expected. However, 2002 installed to ...Office10 and left ...Office in place, effectively leaving Office 2000 installed. Can I uninstall Office 2000 and if so, how do I go about it? Should I use the eraser product afterwards? To further complicate matters, I want to keep Publisher 2000. Help!

    Thanks,

You could have done this in a custom installation of Office 2002. There is a choice to select items to uninstall. Microsoft finally figured out that installing new versions of Office in the same folder as earlier versions could cause problems since many people run multiple or mixed versions, and so OXP installs to Office10, which I for one applaud.

So, what do I do now? Uninstall OXP and re-install with the custom option? Or, is there another way to end up with only OXP and Publisher 2000? Thanks for your help.
