Moving to a new PC
I feel this must be a common problem but I have failed to find any advice on it!
My PC will soon need replacing, but it won't be practical to reinstall Office (which has been through several upgrades, SR patches etc.), and anyway there are lots of settings scattered in the registry and various files. As any new PC will have a newer operating system etc, a straight restore from a full backup can't be the answer - so is there any easy way to transfer Office and all its settings, ideally using a cable link, from one PC to another? At present I have Office 2000, but also Office 97 for compatibility with my work PC, and I'd like to keep both.
