    Personal Address Book (All)

Is there any way to import/export a distribution list from one Personal Address Book to another? Without exporting the entire Address Book.

We need to create a huge distro list for everyone in our group. If we can set up one and then copy it to the others, that would save a tremendous amount of time.

    Thanks in advance.

Can you create it as a Global Address Distribution List, or are these folks all on standalone Outlook Installations?

We have a GAL, but creating a list in there will be extremely time consuming.

We have approx 2000 persons to include on this list. Using the GAL, we'd have to add each user individually.

All of the users are members of smaller (yet still big) address lists. These can't be added to the GAL, but can be added to the PAB.

I think JohnBF's on the right track. Since your Exchange admin can import a list into a DL in the GAL, creating it should be no more work for you. And the benefits are huge: 1) It's much more efficient to process; 2) only one copy is stored on the server, saving space; 3) changes made to email addresses are automatically applied to the DL; 4) you have only one list to administer, whereas with the PAB approach everyone has to maintain their instance.
