Conditionl Formatting for the whole row? (XP/2002)

Lets say I have a row of cells that contain either a YES or a NO. I want the whole row containing that cell to have red text if NO. I tried the format painter, but all it did was center the text how the original cell was centered. How can I do this?

    Thanks guys.

If the cell that contains YES/NO is the cell in column A and starts in row 1, then do the following:

1- Select all of the cells that you want to have red text if the cell in column A contains "NO", making sure that cell A1 is the active cell in the selection.

2- From the Format menu select "Conditional Formatting."

3- Drop down the left drop down list and select "Formula is".

4- In the formula box enter: =$A1="NO"

5- Click on the Format button. In the format dialog box change the font color to red.

6- Click OK to close all dialog boxes.

The text in all of the cells that were selected should now turn red when the cell in column A contains NO.
