Restoring System State to an Alternate Location
System has 2 hard drives.
2nd hard drive got toasted, so all logical drives had to be reformatted.
Win 2000 was installed on the 2nd hard drive in F.
In an attempt to recover, Win 2000 was installed in D on first hard drive. Then BacUp MyPC was installed in Win 2000 on D.
Using a full backup, running BUMP on D, attempt was made to restore files on F.
But the System State files need to be restored on F too.
Has does one restore System State to F without screwing up the
Win 2000 running on D?
KB article for BUMP indicates that System State can be restored to another location.
What do I specify for that location?
I would guess F:Winnt.
