Lotus Notes as Mail Merge Data Source (Word 97/2000, Notes 6.02)

    Hello Everyone,

This is my first post on the lounge, so I apologize in advance if I'm asking something that has already been covered.

The company I work for uses Lotus Notes for email. Recently I was asked whether there is a way to easily feed data from the Notes address book into a Word mail merge (we use Word 97/2000). So far we've been using Notes Version 4.x, which has an
export function, but it doesn't appear to offer an easy way of extracting the correct data. We will be upgrading to Version 6.02 by the middle of July and I hope the export function will be more satisfactory, but I haven't seen this version yet. Does anyone have any experience with using Lotus Notes as a data source?

    Many thanks in advance

We've had a number of threads on integration with Lotus Notes, but I don't recall any specifically regarding its address book. Maybe the posters in these threads can help?

Re: VBA Merge / XP (Word 2002)
    import/export from Lotus Notes (2000)
    Lotus Emails (VBA/Access/2002)
RichText into Word via OLE (Word 2000)

    Hope this helps.

Thanks very much for this info. I will check it out. I also have great hopes of some code which I've been sent by a member of the DailyWordTips list.
