I've got to be missing something simple (Word XP SR 1)
I am in the process of creating a large number of templates, all of which want to use one or more references to routines stored in a given template (for the moment, normal.dot).
Everything I read claims that either a) you can just put in the name of the subroutine as it appears in normal.dot into the other template or you can reference a given template and then just put in the name of the subroutine in that template. However 1) I can't seem to reference normal.dot (it does not appear on the list of references) and 2) just putting in the name of the routine in normal.dot does nothing.
This has just got to be something simple, but I can't seem to figure it out. Any help appreciated.

Try using the keyword Public before the name of the Sub to give it the highest level of visibility between modules.
Also, check out the online help for Application.Run if you want to qualify the procedure name with the name of a module.
And see <post#=234629>post 234629</post#>.
