    Linked SQL Tables w/o Trusted Connection (2000)

    I have code that links to the tables in a SQL Database, however it appears to be creating then using trusted connections even though I specify the userid and password. Is there a way to keep Access/SQL from using the Trusted Connection?

    Just in case anyone reads this... I found the dbAttachSavePWD flag that resolves this issue. When creating the Linked Table, set the table's ".Attributes" equal to dbAttachSavePWD and the entire connection string gets saved.
    EX:
    tdflinked.Attributes = dbAttachSavePWD
