English AUS languages keeps changing to US?

    Hi

We all have Australian dictionaires on our pc's, all our word templates are set to Lanuguage = English (Australian).
Then why is it when we start doing a spell check - the word dialog box displays in the title bar 'Spelling and Grammer: English (Australian)' & then at some point during the spell chek, the word dialog box title bar changes & displays 'Spelling and Grammer: English US' . & then all our language has been changed to English (US).

Do you know how we can set this permenantly to English AUS?
is it just me or does the dictionary & language component not very stable or is it because I dont know much about the dictionaries/languages componet with Word97 & its settings etc.?

Are you aware that the language is set on a style by style basis. This means that ALL of the styles in your template need to be assigned to Aussie English if you don't wish to see colour (ie Red) when spell checking.

Many thanks, I'll now try and follow the instructions even if they are not written in Scots!!
At least I know that the Aussies have the same problems, even if they do play better rugby!

    Thanks - Ian McKinnon
