exporting contact to outlook express (2002 sp2)

I have outlook 2002 on my desktop networked to my laptop that has outlook express. I would like to import my contacts from my desktop to my laptop and keep them in sync. One would think this would be a common use and be easy wouldn't one?

Export them from Outlook 2002 to a coma delimited text file and then import that file into Outlook Express.

Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.

You can simplify the process slightly by using a freeware command line utility such as AutoIt. This will significantly reduce the amount of clicking through, but there is no direct synchronisation facility that I am aware of.

You can probably simplify the process still further by using a registry hack explained at this site http://www.slipstick.com/contacts/oeshare.htm. In this case, provided that your desktop setup complies, all you will need to do is to copy over the OE address book to the laptop as part of your office closedown procedures.
