    Autocorrection list (97)

Can anybody tell me what the filename is of the list in which all autocorrection fragments are stored?
I can find a custom.dic, but this file doesn't contain my fragments. I have to move to another computer (XP) and I want to take my autocorrection list with me.

    Many thanks in advance!

    Hi Daphne,

Custom.dic is your custom dictionary for spell checking. AutoCorrect entries are stored in two different places: unformatted entries are stored in a file with extension .acl, while formatted entries are stored in the default template The .acl file is usually named something like username.acl where username is your login name, and it can be found in the Windows folder (C:WinNT under Window NT, C:Windows under other OS versions.)

You can find a more complete description at How can I import and export all my AutoCorrect entries, so they can be transferred to another machine?
