Oracle and Windows 98 (Access 2000)

I have create a database that is based off of many linked Oracle tables. Everyone can use the database except for those in my company that have Windows 98. Two things that I have found that don't work. 1) There are times that the records just come up with #DELETED in all the fields. 2) There are times that the users can not add new records. Has anyone else had this problem? Besides upgrading to XP or 2000 (which my IT dept. is not ready to do yet), I am at a lost. Thanks.

I have the exact opposite problem. Those running XP cannot access the Oracle ODBC. After much investigation IT depends what version of Oracle you are running. The ODBC drivers are very specific. We are running Oracle 7.0 and there are NO drivers for XP. You could have the opposite problem.
