    password on .pst

I have a user at my work who put a password on a .pst file he was using. He was off three weeks and now cannot remember his password.

Is there any back way into this file? And does anyone want a slightly beaten forgetful employee?

    Re: password on .pst

Thanks for your reply but the problem I am having is not with Outlook remembering a password to access the users mail (or other files).

What this user did was to export the .pst he used for some specific work related projects. He then password protected these .pst files. He would import these .pst files when he worked on the particular project. Now, he claims he cannot remember the passwords so he cannot re-construct his project work.

So it is .pst files we are trying to import that we need to get around the password.

    Thanks
