    pivot table %difference field (2000 9.0.4402 SR1)

I want a pivot table to use the %difference field, but apparently I don't understand how to use it.
Regardless of how I set it up, I get #N/A as a result. Pct of Row and Pct of Column work fine.
No books seem to cover this, not even Woody's. The attached screenshot shows my setup

    Thanks,

    Jim

I don't know how useful it is to display the % difference of a field that already is a difference.

I don't know why you get #N/A, but then I don't know the details of your data. I have attached a very simple working example. (there will probably be some labels in Dutch, but the general idea should be clear).

    Re: pivot table %difference field (2000 9.0.4402 SR1)

The % difference I'm looking for is the relative percent change. If week 1 shows a 10% difference and week2 shows a 15% difference, then what I'm calling the delta pct is the increase in the percentage, or 50%: (15-10)/10. Your example showed me what I was doing wrong for excel. The base field is the date, not the number itself. Quite obvious after you understand it.

    Thanks.
