    Network at startup

My daughter inadvertantly tried to install a network on the PC and now everytime it starts up I am prompted for a network login. I have hit OK and Cancel to no avail... leaving the password blank but it still returns the next time I start the machine. How do I get rid of this pest?

    Thanx.

You need to change the logon type. Go to the Control Panel, then to Network properties, and on the first dialog that appears there should be an entry that reads Primary network logon or similar. Change this to Windows logon, click OK, and then on the next reboot, it should be gone.

Welcome! Glad it was, in the world of Windows, a fairly simple solution!
