Insert Outlook Contact in Word (Word 2002)

I'm building an form in Word to be filled in electronically by my coworkers. I'd like the users to be able to insert a contact's record from our common Outlook Contacts public folder. Basically, I think I want the user to be able to call up the contacts address book, select a record and have the record paste into the space provided. Is this or any other easy info merge possible?

Well, it's not exactly easy, but using Automation you should be able to do it. You might start by looking at <!mskb=302460>Microsoft Knowledge Base Article 302460<!/mskb> which points you to a downloadable help file for Office Automation for OfficeXP. We also have a simple tutorial on our web site that shows how to use automation betwen Access and Word, and there are several books, most notably the Access Developer's Handbook, that have sections on the subject. The bottom line is you need to understand VBA pretty well, and know the object models and their details for both Word and Outlook.
