    Search Form (Front Page 2000)

I'm very new to this program. I'm trying to create a "search form". After inserting the search form component on a new page and saving it, when I enter text or numbers into the "search for" area, it immediately says something like "service not running". What am I doing wrong?

I suspect it is telling you the Server Extensions are not running/installed. The page needs to be published somewhere where you have the FP Servers up and running before this - and other FP features like the hit counter - will work.

Thanks for your prompt response. I'll have to get with our MIS guy to see if he can install the Front Page server extensions.
