    Variable Printing Area (Excel 2000)

Is it possible to define a variable printing area. For example, range A1:C100 contains formula. However, I only want to print range that contain non-zero value, say A1:C70, because the value in cells A71:C73 contain zero value. Data changes, but I don't want to define the printing area every time. THanks in advance.

Have a cell formula determine the last row containing non-zero data.
Define a dynamic name using this computed value
Use the dynamic range name as your print area.

This has been dealt with before in the Lounge, but without the Search facility I cannot find it. However Chip Pearson has an excellent article on Dynamic Ranges Here , and that article has a link to another one on Named Ranges.

Chip is very useful, however I have become lazy and more often use the dynamic range wizard available at http://www.rb-ad.dircon.co.uk/rob/ex...tils/index.htm

Excellent site thanks Kieran, I'll certainly download the Wizard.

It also led me to another site I had forgotten, Rodney Powell's. These two links are also excellent. Dynamic Ranges and Charting Dynamic Data
