How to use W2K's System Monitor

I was wondering if someone could offer some assistance in the use of W2K Pro's System Monitor (which looks a lot to me like NT's Performance Monitor). I didn't really know how to utilize Performance Monitor so I obviously don't really know how to utilize W2K's System Monitor.

I'd like to use it on my PC to take a look at the memory usage, including my RAM and page file. I want to see what's going on with both of these and I want to look at the results and know what they mean. Can someone help me with this? Any information would be appreciated.

Try this article at pc world for starters. It's title refers to XP but it does seem to cover other OS's.
