    Show Desktop (XP Home)

    I really wish the Search engine was working as I have a hunch this topic has been covered before on the board, but here goes.

    I recently mistakenly deleted the Show Desktop icon from my Quick Launch toolbar and I've ben unable to find a way to get it back. I tried the method that was suggested in Woody's Office Watch a couple weeks back but it didn't work. Anyone care to walk me through it?

    Thanks

    If you lost your "Show Desktop.scf" file it can easily be fixed. Open a new text document and type precisely as below (or just copy and paste):
    [Shell]
    Command=2
    IconFile=explorer.exe,3
    [Taskbar]
    Command=ToggleDesktop
    save as all file types and name it "show desktop.scf "
    at "Cocuments and SettingsUser NameApplication DataMicrosoftInternet ExplorerQuick Launch"

    Better yet, try the "Windows key + d" which is a toggle or "Windows Key + m", who needs the icons?

    Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.
