    Workdays (Access 2000)

I have a form with a field for request date and another with a due date. In most cases, the due date is 10 working days after a request is made. I'd like to set the default value as the request date + 10 working days. Is it possible to use a worksheet function in setting a default value. Also, I'd like to check how long it actually takes by adding a third field for receipt date which would then be used to calculate the number of work days since the request date. Is this possible? Thanks.

I don't think that you can use the default value property for this, for you can't determine the value until the request date has been set. You must do this in the form used to enter the data. There, you can use code in the AfterUpdate event of the control bound to the request date to fill the due date.

You will need custom functions to do the workdays arithmetic. You will find code for these in Date/Time: Doing WorkDay Math in VBA in Dev Ashish's Access Web.
