    Display record name in caption bar (XP)

    I remember reading somewhere that it's possible to display in the caption the name of the record on display in a form. Example: I've got a form where I will display all courses a student has completed in the current round of training. The form has a record selector combo box for the user to choose the student whose record we want to see and modify. Seems to me it might be useful for the student's name and payroll ID number to appear in the form's title bar (caption bar?), thus: Course completions: Joseph Jones, 4455.

    Can this be done?

    Try on Current of the form like this.

    Private Sub Form_Current()
    If Len(Me.StudentID) > 0 Then
    Caption = "Course completions: " & Me.StudentName & ", " & StudentID
    End If
    End Sub
