Problem With Read Posts

I see there are only a few of us online now, but are you having a problem with the little red doohickies NOT turning to yellow after you read a thread? I've tried in several boards and after reading a thread, the markers are staying red, as if I hadn't been there.

All fine in this part of the world!
Try logging out, deleting your Lounge cookie(s), then logging back in.

Ditto here, and I second Leif's cure. I've had that problem a few times before and the cookie trick usually fixes it, but I seem to recall a thread (here?) where some had to repair IE to get everything to behave normally. Good luck, I'm off to watch the Le Mans MotoGP on the box

Dat's da way da cookie crumbles! Well, I don't know what the is going on, but I closed my browser (Mozilla), deleted my WOPR cookie and came back in, with the problem still evident. So, I LOGGED OUT, which I hardly never ever do (!) and then went to another web page. Now, when I came back to the Lounge, the problem has stopped. Re: Problem With Read Posts

Logging out seems to help reset a users 'read' indicators. Using multiple machines always logged on will confuse things, as will using the 'back' button a lot. would frequently lecture folks about the latter issue! I didn't used to log off , but now I do daily, and I don't have much hassle with the 'doohickies'.

Same MO for me John. Logon and off each session, use the back button sparingly. is much happier this way, and so would be I suspect.

I'm sure you're both right and I'm gonna try to remember to hit the logout button in the future. I don't ever use the back button 'cause I DO remember reading something from Mum, from way back, about that and it stuck with me. I can't for the life of me figure out why logging out helps in these matters, but that's NOT for me to discern - that why we've got Big Cheese! Thanx All!

Not a problem with MozillaFirebird 0.6. In fact I don't remember having the same problem on earlier Mozillas or Phoenix/Firebird, but then I've been using W2K 9and occasionally WXP). HTH
