No Reply Email

I have not received any email for the posting reply. I have selected YES on the Do you want all replies to posts that you make emailed to you? option.

In the Profile area:
Email Address (for our administrative use only...not visible to other users) does have a valid address.
Email address (displayed in profile) is left blank.

Dennis, the next time you post, double check on the radio buttons below the box (the one in which I'm typing right now). Make sure "Send me email notification of all replies" is set to Yes. The default setting in your profile should set this to Yes automatically, but just in case we have a script problem...

jscher2000, you can tell from the screen shot that the "Send me email notification of all replies" is set to Yes. I am still sending you this reply to see if there any reply email sent to me.

Hans, now is 8:25am, Central Daylight Time, I have not received any reply post email, including yours, mine and Jefferson's.

I wonder if mail from the Lounge is getting filtered by your service provider? (I hope not!) If you sign up for one of the daily archives, do you get them?

Do you have your e-mail notifications set for plain text or HTML? If HTML, try switching to plain text (in the Subscribe/Unsubscribe page you can reach from your Control Panel for Woody's Lounge.) As Jefferson suggests, your ISP may be filtering e-mails; the chance of this is higher with HTML than with plain text.

I don't think Hotmail would filter out mails except by the spam filter set by the users. I have not signed up for one of the daily archives. I have no problem in receiving private mail notifications from loungers.

You haven't got the "only in my addressbook" filter turned on do you? That would stop the emails.

I get whole bunch of junk mails everyday at Hotmail that means the only in my addressbook filter is not on.

Since I have received many junk mails, either in HTML or in plain text, in Hotmail everyday, I don't think mail format is the issue here.

I am Dennis. I just created a new user from the scratch to see if I could receive reply email.

That doesn't say everything. At work, I can receive e-mails in plain text, RTF and HTML, but Woody's newsletters in HTML are bounced by the Exchange server, while those in plain text go through.
