(Edited by HansV to activate link - see <!help=19>Help 19<!/help>)

I have a VBA tutorial on my relatively bare site.

    Drew
I've downloaded your VBA help zip file and just wanted to thank you.
I've not had chance to look at it yet but am determined to see it through it's course.
I'm sure it will help many others who are interested.
    BTW
Really nice web design, what was it designed with ?

    All the best.

I found "Running Microsoft Access 2000", John Viescas, Microsoft Press very helpful.

The CD has a complete application that will help newbies understand system design, user interface and VBA that ties it all together.

I have a pile of books, but my 3 favorites are:
Beginning Access 2000 VBA - Smith and Sussman, WROX (this may be harder to find because WROX has gone out of business)
Mastering Microsoft Access 2000 Development - Alison Balter, SAMS
Microsoft Access 2000 Development Unleashed - Forte, Howe, and Ralston, SAMS

Thanks for the compliment. I will warn you there are a few grammar issues in it, I don't know what I was on when I wrote that thing! <img src=/S/evilgrin.gif border=0 alt=evilgrin width=15 height=15>

As far as my website, I use FrontPage. I really only use FrontPage for the theme and navigation capability, I do everything else in straight HTML or ASP. Right now my site is pretty bare. I took my old site offline because it was pretty 'icky'. I have the new site's theme done (using graphics I made with Adobe PhotoShop), and I like the theme, I just haven't had time to start adding stuff to my site. I actually just added the articles to my site for you, so you could download them.

    Enjoy.

    Thanks for the info Drew.

I've seen a couple of typo's already, but they're not too difficult to decifer.

I'll have a go at the ASP tutorial next.

    Thanks again.

    Re: books (2000)

    So you see what I mean! <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15>

Every time I sit down to go through that thing, I get distracted by something else. It's a long doc, so it's no simple task to proof it.

Just a tip on the ASP tutorial. It's just a jumping point, it does assume quite a bit of programming capability. With the VBA tutorial, it assumes almost nothing.

    Hi Drew-
Thank you so much. It was just what I needed to get me started. It was written so that I even understood what you were talking about. Hats off to you. <img src=/S/bravo.gif border=0 alt=bravo width=16 height=30>

Thank you for the compliment. You're quite welcome, and I am glad it helped you out. I have been day dreaming of creating lots of tutorials in that style on my site, but I have yet to have the time to do it! <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15> Go figure.
