    coloring appt's in OL2K calendar (Outlook 2000/sp1)

Is there a way to format appointments in the calendar so that when i'm looking at the calendar they appointments are colored differently, like purple, green, blue, etc.? Let me know. Thanks.

Looks like you can only do it one of the "table" views, not the "calendar" views, probably not quite what you're after. But, in case you want to try it out, first switch to a table view, like "View | Current View | Active Appointments". Then select "View | Current View | Customize Current View...". From the "View Summary" dialog you can tailor the view to suit. To set colours you need to select "Automatic Formatting...", then click "Add" to create a new formatting rule. Under "Properties of selected rule" you can name the rule, select the font settings (inc colour), and define the condition that causes the rule to be applied.
