Someone at my office recently returned from time on the road and I tried to import a table from the copy of my database on their computer so that I could update our office data. I received an error message that I had tried to assign the null value to a variable that is not a variant data type. Having come across this sort of error quite some time ago, I was suspicious and ran a query that showed me there are records in which the primary key field (an autonumber ID) is null. Does anyone know how to track down the cause of this problem? In my previous experience, I narrowed it down to one particular computer and I think this may be the case with the laptop used in this case (it's beginning to show warning signs). I was able to get the records from the corrupted table that I needed.
