Scheduled Tasks stop running after x days

I have a few scheduled tasks that I have set up to run every day. For some reason, after about a month or so, the scheduled tasks no longer execute. They are scheduled with a profile & password that has admin rights.

The local security settings password policy is set to zero for both the max and minimum password age. (I set the min & max password age to 0 thinking that would prevent the password used for the scheduled task from expiring - is that true?)

Is there something else that would cause the scheduled task to not run?

    Thanks,

Have you checked the tasks log to see if it yields any clues?

Thanks - the jobs ran this morning, but for some reason did not yesterday. I'll keep an eye on it. I wasn't aware of the log - thannks again.

I don't know what kind of jobs they are, batch files or scripts, perhaps something else - but if it's sporadic, then perhaps it has something to do with authentication. Glad to be of assistance - if you discover anything, let us know!
