    Export Eudora (Internet Explorer 6.0)

Apologies if this is posted in the wrong place!

I need to get numerous emails from Eudora into Word, preferably each email as an individual Word document. I don't know anything at all about Eudora. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Re: Export Eudora (Internet Explorer 6.0)

I searched Eudora's support database for export and didn't find anything useful. According to the manual, from inside Eudora, you can use Save As to save an individual message to a text file (or a group of messages to one text file, although it seems the headers for the second and subsequent messages might not be included that way). I'm not sure if this can be automated.

Eudora uses a standard file format for its mailboxes, the name of which escapes me. But there's stuff about it all over the web (for example, here). You might even find utilities designed to do things to files in this format that were written for other programs, maybe even some that work with Word (though you might have to do it in two steps). Hope this helps.
