    Viewing Two Windows (XP)

I am simply trying to view two documents at one time using the Windows, Arrange All menu selection. The problem is that I get two sets of tool bars, one above each of the two documents, and that just takes more screen real estate than I like.

After scanning tons of pages of posts without success, I decided to ask the question here. I would have liked to search first, but that's no longer an option.

    Thanks for any suggestions.

This is the consequence of Microsoft's decision to make Word look like a Single Document Interface (SDI) application by default. You can turn this off in Word 2002 in the View tab of Tools | Options..., by clearing the Windows in Task Bar check box. Then, the Word window will have only a single set of tool bars.
