    Dissapearing appointments/messages

    Hi,

I work in a company where people can create appointments for others. The problem is this: A user creates an appointment for another. When the invited user opens his/her Outlook to view their agenda they find that some of their *previous* messages/appointments are missing.

Has anyone come across this before and do you have a solution for it?

    thanks,

are they opening outlook from other workstations using a pst instead of the mailbox? all mail gets moved to the pst.

otherwise, are they using a "hide read messages" view?

The messages are stored on the exchange server only those that people want are moved manually to the pst.

The hide read messages view is not enabled.

they have the pst set as delivery location on one or more workstations and when they access the mail box from there, all mail is moved to the pst.
