    VB objMsg.Send warning (2002 (10.4712.4219 SP-2))

I use VBA from Access to send individual customized messages, each to a different recipient. I've just upgraded from Office 2000 to Office 2002. This automation still works fine EXCEPT that I get this (see attachment) annoying dialog box for EACH message that I send. I realize that this may have been added to Office 2002 to address potential security issues, but it sure is an annoyance when I'm try to do legitimate productive work!!! Is there any way to override this, turn it off, or bypass it???

    Thanks.

I believe that this is a 2002 "known issue". There is a list of (not highly satisfactory) available workarounds on Sue Mosher's Slipstick site here. There may be some hope that the final version of Office 2003 will let COM Add-Ins through. HTH

    Unkamunka & John -

Thanks for the info and links. ClickYes will serve my purposes (still, though, waiting five seconds until the MS Security Police let ClickYes close each dialog box is quite a bore!).

Well, it's a rock and a hard place between ClickYes and doing a system reinstall so you can end up running Outlook 2000 alongside the rest of Office 2002!

    OL 2000 with SP's 2 & 3 has the problem, I think it's any version from 9.0.0.4201up.

BTW, apologies that I didn't notice that your Slipstick link included ClickYes, though you had to page down for an eternity to see it! <img src=/S/laugh.gif border=0 alt=laugh width=15 height=15>

If the 5sec wait becomes too unbearable, you could build your own (near)instant "ClickYes" with AutoIt. Have a look in thread <!post=NTI Backup Now and AutoIt,257393>NTI Backup Now and AutoIt<!/post> where Big Al did something similar.
