ZipInstaller

The ZipInstaller utility installs and uninstalls applications and utilities that do not provide an internal installation program. It automatically extracts all files from the Zip file, copies them to the destination folder you select, creates shortcuts in the start menu and in your desktop, and adds an uninstall module to allow you to automatically remove the software in the future.

I don't remember where I first saw this one, but I wish I'd found it years ago. Instead of just unzipping apps that don't come with installers, you get a reminder (uninstaller) in "Add or Remove Programs". That may seem trivial, but it makes a big contribution to keeping my life simpler.

btw If you try it out pay attention to the default destination folder and shortcut names. They use the zip file name, minus "zip", not always the most descriptive or meaningful option.
