Tracing Custom Keybinding Usage (2000 or XP)

I'd like to trace each time a user uses various custom shortcut keys. Does anyone know a good way to do this? I've thought about temporarily rebinding the user's Keybindings so that they get directed to my own macro, but this seems risky--I'm afraid that shut down abnormally and I won't get a chance to restore their settings.

    Thanks...

You can intercept the Keyboard... button in the Customize dialog by writing a macro named ToolsCustomizeKeyboard. You could store all key bindings in an array before displaying the wdDialogToolsCustomizeKeyboard dialog, and compare it to the situation after this dialog has closed. Seems laborious.

What do the custom shortcut keys do? If they run your macros, you could rewrite the macros to log usage. Otherwise...
