Hide recipients in a distribution list (Outlook 2002 SP2)

The search facility is down so please excuse me if I am posting the most FAQ. How do you suppress the names in a distribution list? Thank you in advance.

The standard way is to put the DL into the BCC: field. To keep a 'reasonable' name in the To: field, create a new address to yourself, with the name of the List as the displayed name.
If you want to create individually addressed emails to all those on the list, you can either use mail-merge or use list-server software. Post back if you want more info.

I'm just starting to look at, maybe, making our operation a little more sophisticated in this area. Do you have any experience with the list-server software? If it is going to cost thousands I won't waste my time. If in the $100s then I may do more digging. TIA.
