Word XP Crashing when Minimizing Word (Word XP)

Hi. My office is currently using Office 2000 Professional. I am checking out Office XP to see if it works with a document management system called ProLaw. I have noticed that when you minimize Word XP, Word will crash and close automatically. I have went to Microsoft.com and have downloaded all of the updates and Word is still crashing. Has anyone been having the same problem and know how to fix this? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

My first question would be is the version of ProLaw you are using compatible with Office XP?
If unknown contact ProLaw and find out.

Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.

You might want to look up Phil's "often-linked-to" Star Post that describes the standard trouble-shooting methods for any kind of Word automation/integration. This will help you isolate the problem, whether Word itself or a particular template.

<IMG SRC=http://www.wopr.com/w3timages/starpost.gif> Systematic Approach to Behavioral Problems in Word (Word 97/2000).

    Hope this helps.
