Updating workbooks when changing template? (Excel 2002)

In DreamWeaver one can easily update all pages based on a template, when one makes a change in the template. Is there any way to do this in Excel? Thanks for any advice!

It is not entirely clear what you are asking. If you are asking about updating styles contained in existing workbooks, the answer is "no". If you are asking about data linked to other data contained in a "data template", the answer is basically "yes". HTH

No, unfortunately. Unlike Word documents and HTML pages, an Excel workbook has no connection whatsoever with the template used to create it. So you would have to do everything yourself in code.

    Marjory:

I don't have 2002, but in Excel 2000, when you change (and resave) a template, the changes only affect new s/sheets, not existing files based on the existing version of the template. I don't know of any way to 'apply' a template to a file.
