Conversion from Word (2002 SP-2 on XP Pro)

<img src=/S/help.gif border=0 alt=help width=23 height=15> I know very little about Excel but wonder if it is possible to convert a Word table to Excel? I tried importing but got the message that it didn't recognise the file format. I would be grateful for any help.

Select the entire table in Word, and then just copy and paste. You may have some formatting to do in Excel after the paste, but it works pretty well.

John - thank you so much. Too easy - 2 key strokes and it was done. I was trying to do it the hard way. Thanks again.
