LAN Messaging (xp)

I have a 5-system LAN in my home, with 3 of the older ones running 98SE. I would like to be able to make notes pop up on the other screens, sort of like an instant messaging thing, but not requiring being online. I don't need to actually work on their computer or manage files, etc.; just make a note pop up on top of everything else on their screen.
    thanks for any help.

    Re: LAN Messaging (xp)

    From a command prompt:
net send computername message.

You will need to be running Winpopup on the 98's and have the Messenger service running on XP.

For more info, type in at the command prompt:
net send ?
