Could not open Macro storage (Word XP )

I have created a template with macros, including some 'on new document' code, in case that helps.

On some machines this template works fine, on some others I get the error message "Could not open macro storage" and the template falls over.

Could some kind soul tell me what would be causing this error message and how I can resolve it?

    Thanks.

It is possible that the users experiencing these problems don't have enough rights in the registry. They need to be able to create and write to certain keys in the registry in order to be able to use macros.

It is also possible that they have the wrong version of VBE6.dll. See <!mskb=290935>Microsoft Knowledge Base Article 290935<!/mskb>.

I think this also can indicate a missing Reference (as in Tools>References). In other words, for example, your project specifies DAO 3.5 but on their machine they have DAO 3.6, or vice versa. But I may be misremembering the error.
