    Recently Used Menu Options

    IE 5, Win 2k.

Any idea on how to disable the "Recently used menu options" or "Personalized Menus" (whatever IE calls it) functionality?

    Thanks,

    Chris

    Re: Recently Used Menu Options

You can do it for the Favorites Menu through ToolsInternet OptionsAdvanced, then unchecking 'Enable Personalized Favorites Menu'. This removes that little double arrow which you have to click to drop down the menu fully. Are the others also causing you a problem?

    Re: Recently Used Menu Options

    Hi MerC,

Thanks! I wouldn't have thought of that as an "Internet Option." :-) I don't have the problem elsewhere because I've disabled the settings in Word and on the Taskbar properties.
