A data file created in Word should be easily sorted and/or filtered prior to a merge. The directions are straightforward, and sometimes the process works just fine - other times it does not. Tonight, clicking the field titles does NOT sort. Sometimes I have tried to filter but had ALL the records merge anyway. Can someone tell me if I am inconsistent or if this is buggy? And if I'm inconsistent, can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?
