    Complicated IF statement (Excel xp)

    I need to write a formula to look at B7 and AG7. If B7 > AG7 then i need to take B7 and concatenate an up arrow the front of it. If it is less than AG7 i need to concatenate a down arrow. I can do this part but now they've added the following. If AF7 has a 90 i need to add 1 arrow but if AF7 has a 95 in it i need to add 2 arrows.

    Can this be done in a formula in B7?

    something like...

    if AF7 = 95 then
    if B7 > AG7 then
    B7 & 2 up arrows
    else if B7 <= AG7 then
    B7 & 2 down arrows
    end if
    end if

    if AF7 = 90 then
    if B7 > AG7 then
    B7 & 1 up arrow
    else if B7 <= AG7 then
    B7 & 1 down arrow
    end if
    end if

    Help please. I'm supposed to do it by noon (1.5 hrs from now). thank you so much

    Try something like this:

    <pre>=IF(AF7=90,IF(B7>AG7,"
