Using given parameters on form (2000)

I have created a parameter query that prompts for a date range. A report is based on the results. I would like to use the date range selected in the header of the report. EX- Widget Report from [beginning date] to [ending date]. Thanks in advance!

I don't believe you can access the information in a parameter query for use in your report. I would suggest a slightly different approach:- Create an unbound form with two text boxes on it, one for the beginning date and one for the end date. You will also need a command button to run your report. Now instead of using parameters in your query use the dates from the unbound form.

In the header section of your form put two unbound text boxes and for the source use the beginning date text box for one and the end date text box for the other.

Rupert's approach (using a form with unbound text boxes) is more elegant, but it is possible to refer to the parameters in the report header. The simplest form is a text box with ControlSource =[beginning date] and a text box with ControlSource =[ending date]. You can also try a text box with control source ="EX-Widget Report from " & [beginning date] & " to " & [ending date]
