    MP3 Burner

    Hi,

I have Roxio Easy CD Creator 5.2 Basic on Win XP Home. Unfortunately, I need the platinum edition to burn MP3 CDs.

Would anyone recommend a cheap--preferably free--program with the capability to burn MP3s onto CD-Rs and CD-RWs?

    Thanks so much!

How about CD Burner XP Pro. Does a number of things--will work in all versions of Windows 98 on up.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your response.

Unfrotunately (though I didn't download the program), its home page says that it can only burn WAV files, and not MP3s...

    Jonathan,

Depending on your MP3 CD Player, you may be able to get away with just using ECDC to create your MP3CD

The MP3 CD player I have will play a cd that was created just by copying the MP3 files to the CD (upto 8 directories deep), as long as the CD is written in ISO9660 standard in one session only.

I just had a look at the MP3 project creator in ECDC Platinum and it looks just like the DATA CD Project except that in the top window (Source FIles) you can only see MP3s.

    Jonathan--

MP3CD Maker is here; may not be free--but you can try it I believe unless ZD has now coralled all of their downloads into a subscription service they started in Jan '03 and have disabled trials from their site. You might want to compare features of these guys below to Brian's solution and investigate all the latest plugs from Nero--They update almost monthly--and later I will also.

    Also see:

***Limitation of MP3CD Maker is 4 songs or cuts per CD-R. May be some duplications listed on these sites.

    Re: MP3 Burner

I use Nero Express OEM version to burn MP3 files on cd's. How do I know if the cd's are written in ISO9660 standard?
