    Sharing contacts in public folder

I have a group of users using Outlook 2000 and Exchange 5.5. We need to share a subset of contacts from our individual address books. Does anyone know of a way to do this using public folders (preferable) or otherwise?

An example of what I'm trying to do:
John, Ted and Dave each have 200 contacts in their address books. I want to create a shared public address book that includes 10 contacts from John, 5 from Ted and 15 from Dave.

Is there a way to copy these contacts into the address book and have them automatically update when changes are made in the individual's address book?

I'm sorry if this is confusing, let me know how I can clarify any of this.

    Thanks, Mary

You really can't do it automatically. You could use a script, but every one i've seen was for all contacts. You might be able to if each contact is added to a category such as "Shared" then have the script look for categories. Not sure if it can be that specific though.

Thanks MaryJ - I'll let you know how it turns out.
