Worksheet name tab font (2000/SR1)

Is there a setting (registry or otherwise) I can modify that affects the font and size for worksheet name tabs?

    Thanks,
    Jim

(Edited by JohnBF on 18-Jun-03 14:11. Initial reply corrected.)
See this Mr. Excel Tip, which I can't reproduce, but that may be due to system restrictions on my work machine. And my apologies that my earlier reply was incorrect. Arial 8 and MS Sans Serif 8 look a lot alike!

The tip works since if you increase the size of the SCROLL BAR (not any FONT) it automatically enlarges the WS Tab.

The color of the TAB TEXT can be changed by changing the Message Box Text color in DIsplay Properties.

WARNING: Both these changes will affect scrollbars and Message boxes for other programs too.

Thanks. I had seen the tip from Mr. Excel, but it included the words "font size," so I was looking for a setting that dealt with, not surprisingly, fonts. I didn't realize the size of the scrollbar itself influenced the size of the text. I just wish the two were separate, because I like my scrollbar a little bigger (it's that age and eyesight thing!). Guess I'll go for a compromise.

    Thanks again,
    Jim
