Access 97 Error On Click (97)

I have inherited an old Access 97 Database. As of yesterday it was not find project or library when compiling code with error$. I replaced this with err.description and I now get the following error.

The expression ON Click you entered as the event property setting produces the following error. Expected end of statement.

If anyone has a suggestion, I would appreciate it.

    Thanks

Perhaps there are missing references. Open any module, then select Tools | References... If you see one or more references beginning with MISSING:, do the following:
    <UL><LI>Click on one of them.
<LI>Note the description and path in the lower part of the dialog.
    <LI>Clear the check box.
<LI>Repeat until all MISSING references are unchecked.
    <LI>Click OK
<LI>See if you can compile the code now (Debug | Compile and Save All Modules)
<LI>If you get errors stating that a user-defined type has not been declared, you'll have to find the equivalent of one or more of the missing references, and set it.
<LI>If you get other errors, there may be "ordinary" programming errors. Try to repair them, or post the offending lines in a reply here.[/list]
