    Comparing Lists (XL2K SR1)

    I have one list of 10k names and another list of 11k names. I want to compare one to the other to find out which is missing. Is there a function that I can use for this? Thanx.

    Re: Comparing Lists (XL2K SR1)

    use the MATCH function in a a cell of the 11K database to lookup the name in each row to the 10K. something like:
    <pre>=MATCH(A4,'10K Sheet'!$A$1:$F$10000,0)</pre>

    The names that are NOT matched will have #NA errors. Autofilter on this column on #N/A to get a listing of the "missing Ones"

    TO make sure that ALL the 10K ones are in the 11K, you can do the same this to that list. My assumption is that 1000 are missing from the 1oK list (but that might be true)
