Was this last intall a clean or dirty (over top of current) install?

    Re: Windows Explorer

This was a clean install. Everything was fine for two days, then added some progs and some other stuff ... I have registry files and win.ini and sys.ini from Norton Zip Rescue disks that I can use to roll back, if need be, then just re-add missing progs. But, I feel there must be something basic I am missing that a file restore or regedit could repair more quickly.

What are the "then added some progs and some other stuff "?
One or some of these may have done you in.
